Iowa Online Resources and Information
We Are Here For You
In this unprecedented time we are all experiencing many new, scary and hard times. We at Iowa are here to support our students and community. We miss you all and cannot wait until we can return to school. In the meantime we will try and support you all the best we can through online learning. All online learning for 1st grade through 5th grade will begin Tuesday August 18th at 9:00 am. PK and Kinder will start Monday August 24th.
Effective Communication is a Priority
With so much being new and different we know communication is key. You can find all staff members email here . Teachers will be communicating with families and all staff members have office hours in which they will be available during the school day. During these times you can set up meeting to ask questions raise concerns or just say hello.
You can also call the schools main line 303-751-3660 and leave a message. Someone will get back with you within 24-48 hours during the work week.
Starting on Tuesday August 18th, all students will have a virtual morning meeting with their teachers starting at 9:00 am, this will continue Monday- Thursday. Each classroom will then have a daily schedule to follow. In your students Google Classroom you will find a daily schedule with links to each meeting your child will need to attend for the day. Friday will be a day for independent work and small groups. Your child's teacher will communicate the time for small group instruction or expectations for independent work.
