Tell Me About Cub Scouting
The Cub Scout is a member of a den. Most dens have 5-8 boys and meet twice a month. Den meetings are a time for learning new things and having fun. Dens are lead by adult leaders who are parents of boys in the den. There are also several designed activities the scout does at home to build family relations and responsibilities. All the dens here at Iowa make up Pack 75 and meet once a month for a Pack meeting. The Pack meetings are designed to recognize all the cubs in their accomplishments, to perform skits, and to have fun with the entire family. The Pack also meet several times a year to participate in activities that are not only fun but also to build on the values of Cub Scouting.
