All-Star Book Fair: Every Reader is a Star!
The Iowa’s Scholastic Book Fair is coming October 22 through October 26. You will find great deals on books, games, stationary and gift items for everyone in the family! Great prices on fiction and non-fiction books for reading ages from preschool through adults. Remember to bring you holiday shopping list so you can choose great gifts for everyone and help build Iowa’s library book collection at the same time. Be sure to check out our Scholastic Book Fair Homepage at http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/iowabears for more information. Cash, checks, credit or debit cards are accepted. Aurora’s sales tax rate of 8.1% will be added to all purchases. If you cannot make the book fair you can shop online from October 17 through November 6. All orders will be shipped free to the school. Come and join the fun and help support Iowa.
The Book Fair will be open for parents on October 22nd and 24th during parent/teacher conferences from 4:00 to 7:30 pm and on October 26th 9:30 to 11:30 am. Students will be able to purchase books during school hours during the week. If you send money with your students remember the 8% tax rate.
Volunteers are needed to help set-up, run the cash register and take down the book fair. Please volunteer to help make the book fair a success and help our students be a reading all-star!
